What a great start to Book Week we have had with all sorts of activities going on around the school. We had our Teddy Bears Breakfast this morning and it was lovely to see students coming in with their favourite furry friends.

Room 22 students eating breakfast with their favourite friends.

At our last full school assembly, Alicia received a Thinker Disposition Certificate.
This was truly merited as Alicia is always using lots of different and creative  strategies when it comes to problem solving.

Well done Alicia!!

Congratulations to Nathania for getting a Kindness Certificate at our values assembly, and Rachel for her Respect Certificate.
Both awards were definitely deserved!

Senior School Athletics

What a fabulous day! The sun was shining and all the students were brilliant. What great athletes we have.

Congratulations to all the students who got placed in their events. Now comes the hard training for the inter-school athletics day.

The tug of war is always hotly contested!

Katja and Naaser receive there ribbons for placing in their events
With all the new classes opening up, there has been a lot of other classes moving into new rooms.
The library also had to move....AGAIN!!.....back to the old Room 18.

Mrs Slaughter and a hardy group of parent helpers did a great job getting it back and all set up before Book Week.

We were able to help by moving the books, furniture and helping re-shelve at the other end.

The Great Milk Fold-off!!

The whole school gathered together to drink their milk. We need to remember to fold our milk cartons properly so they can be recycled.
If we don't fold them properly they get dumped in the landfill.
All of the students in Room 22 are folding them correctly which is great news.

We have moved into our new class and loving the new room. Learning carries on as always and students continue to be the hard workers they were in the old classroom!!
